Hiking The New Hope Overlook
I signed up for another Meetup group hike. I never know what I am going to see on these hikes, I am always excited for the new adventure. I grabbed my camera and headed toward Jordan Lake. "New Hope Overlook Blue Route is a 2.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Moncure, North Carolina that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash." AllTrails.com Dogs are allowed on the trail. I did not take Brodie. The hikes are at a fast clip with this group so it may be difficult to drag him; literally along. Brodie and I go on 3-mile walks in our neighborhood.
